Thai In Mookata | The Famous Thai Select Awardee BBQ

If you were a mookata lover like us, you definitely heard many people having good rave about this place. They even receive the Thai Select awards which makes you even more wonder, how good this place could be among other mookata places? So, we checked the place out to ensure that your visit is going to be worth it! They have many branches in Klang Valley, you can visit their website  to find one nearest to your place. We visited the one in OKR on Friday Night. First impression, we super in love the vibe. The place is tucked in somewhat inside the warehouse complex kinda feeling. Not sure if it were really a warehouse, but at a glance you can see some showrooms and even more other restaurants in the inner area of the place. The mookata place itself is adorned by beautiful outdoor fairy lights with a giant spacious place whereby you see everyone just chit-chatting non-stop with their family and friends. BALI SUCKLING PIG in Kuala Lumpur #babiguling

Bali is definitely my family's favorite vacay destination. One of the must-eat local dish that I will NEVER miss out when I went there is BALI suckling pig or they locals call it Babi Guling.

They have so many AMAZING suckling pig places, but my favorite is always Babi Guling Pak Malen. Jot that down just in case you go to Bali in the future.

However, despite the many visits, I will always miss the Babi Guling even though I am in KL. Luckily, the Crispy Pork Noodles Soup store located in Pasar Seni served this Babi Guling dish as one of their menu. They called it as Crispy Pork set if I am not mistaken

To compare it side by side with the one in Bali, I must say that as for the taste, its 10/12. The only major difference is they only have one type of pork served which is just the white pork and you need to use the green-looking sambal thingy. With some beans on the side, pork cracklings, crispy pork skin and fried onions.

While the OG Bali's serve white meat pork along with crispy fried pork, crispy pork skin, pork satay, beans, 'Lawar' which is Bali special sambal thingy along with the yellow soup full with Bali spices.

I also had tried their Filipino Dish which also includes crispy fried pork. Definitely, an underdog. Even though, the crispy fried pork taste almost exactly the same with the Indonesia Medan samcan, surely you can give it a try. Will not disappoint!

Overall, I can say that the Crispy Pork Noodles store can still be a yummy alternative if you miss Bali Crispy Pork. But, definitely, you need to go to the ones in BALI !
