Thai In Mookata | The Famous Thai Select Awardee BBQ

If you were a mookata lover like us, you definitely heard many people having good rave about this place. They even receive the Thai Select awards which makes you even more wonder, how good this place could be among other mookata places? So, we checked the place out to ensure that your visit is going to be worth it! They have many branches in Klang Valley, you can visit their website  to find one nearest to your place. We visited the one in OKR on Friday Night. First impression, we super in love the vibe. The place is tucked in somewhat inside the warehouse complex kinda feeling. Not sure if it were really a warehouse, but at a glance you can see some showrooms and even more other restaurants in the inner area of the place. JEH O CHULA | Michelin Star Tom Yam Noodle | Bangkok Series

Before Jeh O Chula, I think it was more towards the era or Jay Fai. Where people queueing for few hours to get a plate of Crab Omelette.

But, recently in 2023, I saw so many posts about Jeh O Chula's famous Tom Yam Noodle especially on Instagram. It will be MUCH better if you can just do a reservation via Klook app so or else you need to wait for a few hours just to get a table. 

The only downside if you booked via Klook is -- you can only purchase the set package which includes the Tom Yam Noodle, their roasted pork, Kangkong and raw salmon. I do not eat raw salmon, however the owner is generous enough to allow me to subsitute it to omelette instead. Which I was happy about.

Their Tom Yam definitely has generous toppings such as overwhelming amount of prawns, squid, pork meatball and raw egg. It was not exactly amazing. I do not think it might be worth it if I needed to queue for hours for the Tom Yam because there might be better ones without you need to queue for hours.

But, it surely taste more on the comforting side. The roasted pork - no doubt its good. The kangkong and omelette is just okay. I would say, you can visit if you do can purchase via Klook. If not, you can visit other better ones out there. Overall, it was a good meal!
