Thai In Mookata | The Famous Thai Select Awardee BBQ

If you were a mookata lover like us, you definitely heard many people having good rave about this place. They even receive the Thai Select awards which makes you even more wonder, how good this place could be among other mookata places? So, we checked the place out to ensure that your visit is going to be worth it! They have many branches in Klang Valley, you can visit their website  to find one nearest to your place. We visited the one in OKR on Friday Night. First impression, we super in love the vibe. The place is tucked in somewhat inside the warehouse complex kinda feeling. Not sure if it were really a warehouse, but at a glance you can see some showrooms and even more other restaurants in the inner area of the place. The mookata place itself is adorned by beautiful outdoor fairy lights with a giant spacious place whereby you see everyone just chit-chatting non-stop with their family and friends. Despite all the smokes from the bbq, the place is cozy to just chill and take som...

BEST THAI TEA | BANGKOK SERIES

Well, let's not even count our Thai Tea daily dose when we are in Thailand. I tried few Thai Tea brands and every one of them is indeed AMAZING.  But, before the review, just keep in mind that Thai Tea is definitely very personal to our palate preference. Yet, no Thai Tea is a bad Thai Tea in Thailand 🤪 I think we all agree on that!

CHA TRA MUE

Let's talk about the OG - one and only Cha Tra Mue. You surely would not want to miss this one. Even if you go to smaller store of Thai Tea brands, almost every one of them are using their Thai Tea leaves. You can adjust the sweetness to your perfect level, stirred together with hot Thai Tea, you can slowly but surely smell the fragrant and aromatic tea leaves in your first sip.

I am always a big fan of Thai Green Tea, but honestly cannot even decide between this and the original one. 10/10 ❣️

GAGA

Comparing Gaga side by side with Cha Tra Mue, I would say each cup holds the place to my heart for different Thai Tea kinda mood days. If you get what I mean.

Gaga is more for the day when I crave for creamy, rich Thai Tea with mousse on top. While Cha Tra Mue is for when I would love to have  a light and refreshing Thai tea daily.

I would rate Gaga 9/10 ✨

SICHA

This is the first time I heard of this brand. I came across it during my stroll in Chatuchak Weekend Market. The tea is a bit creamier than Cha Tra Mue but not as rich as Gaga.

What I found quite unique about Sicha is, they put on a good performance while serving the Thai tea as if serving you a cocktail. The guy ended by spraying some fine gold dust to your tea making it even more luxury of a tea. So, if you are feeling fancy for the day, do try it!

I would rate it 8.5/10 🪄 still a very good Thai Tea!

ZOOCRAFT COFFEE @ Chatuchak

While this one is an unexpected very good Thai Green Tea. Yes, I purchase another Thai Tea after sipping Sicha in Chatuchak. Do not judge me.

I ordered it with not much expectation but again, its always the unexpected one that surprise you!

I think they are using Cha Tra Mue in their tea because I saw they displayed them in front of the store. But, their Thai Green Tea blend is definitely up to Cha Tra Mue level. They even added some foams on top. We love an aesthetic Thai Tea 🫶🏻

Surely, 10/10❣️

Soo... which team are you?
