If you were a mookata lover like us, you definitely heard many people having good rave about this place. They even receive the Thai Select awards which makes you even more wonder, how good this place could be among other mookata places? So, we checked the place out to ensure that your visit is going to be worth it! They have many branches in Klang Valley, you can visit their website  to find one nearest to your place. We visited the one in OKR on Friday Night. First impression, we super in love the vibe. The place is tucked in somewhat inside the warehouse complex kinda feeling. Not sure if it were really a warehouse, but at a glance you can see some showrooms and even more other restaurants in the inner area of the place. LALA CHONG SEAFOOD RESTAURANT AT KAYU ARA | BEST SEAFOOD IN AREA? | KAYU ARA

I have been craving for Seafood, but it is quite tricky to find one that surely hits the spot. If you know what I mean. So, I have been researching and I always come across SO many articles recommending Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant. Of course, I had to go!

I made the reservation for one day post CNY. Lucky enough to get the seat because they tend to be full reserved. So, I would advise you guys to check and book for tables before coming.

I should say that they have amazing service. When we came, the tables are all set up nicely. I could see that practically all tables were all already reserved since they all have name cardboards for the reservation on the tables. They have both indoors and outdoors but we book the one indoors for aircon 😗



From the restaurant name itself, we knew that they are famous for Lala. We had ordered through WhatsApp but too bad that suddenly they said they sold out of Lala few days before we came.

But, we are NOT disappointed at all because all of the food that we ordered definitely HITS all the right spot. We ordered the must-order salted egg sotong, sweet and sour fish, broccoli with mushroom and dry butter prawn. We definitely knew why they are so famous. But, definitely need to try their Lala in our next visit.

Overall ⭐️ 9/10. Definitely will come back
